From NTR To Naga Chaitanya: What�s Next For Koratala?

There was once a time when Koratala Shiva was regarded as the next star director in Telugu cinema. In accordance with this, he delivered multiple blockbusters back to back. But when it comes to the pan India segment that is gripping the top stars of Telugu Cinema, it appears that Siva has fallen back.

Koratala Siva tried his hand at pan India filmmaking with Devara which has Junior NTR in the lead role. This film turned out to be a pretty decent success in terms of box office revenues, but when it came to the actual content, it fell shot of the expectations.

The latest developments are suggesting that Siva is no longer in the elite league of film makers in Telugu Cinema as he is now looking to make films with younger generation heroes.

Reportedly Siva has prepared an idea for young actor Naga Chaitanya, and this could very well be his immediate next project after Devara. Related discussions are happening now, and once everything is finalised, this project with Chaitanya could be announced.

It is already on that the sequel for Devara with NTR has already been showed and NTR already is working on multiple projects. So Siva is left with no other option, but to look for alternatives, and that is exactly what he is doing now.

Reportedly Siva could be going from directing NTR with his previous film to directing a youngster like Chaitanya for his next. This is not a don�t fall or anything, but the kind of transition that is happening in the Telugu film industry due to the pan India culture is clearly evident here.
