Popular Korean Star Getting Onboard For 'Spirit'?

After delivering hits like 'Salaar' and 'Kalki', Rebel Star Prabhas will be joining hands with Sandeep Reddy Vanga. The 'Arjun Reddy' and 'Animal' director is currently putting the finishing touches to the script and the project is expected to go on floors by the end of this year. Prabhas is expected to play the role of police officer as said by the director in an interview.

The latest we hear is that Korean star hero Ma Dong-Seok is expected to become a part of 'Spirit'. Ma Dong-Seok is famous for his films like 'Train To Busan', 'The Bad Guys: Reign of Chaos', 'The Outlaws', MCU's 'Eternal' and more. The 53-year-old has done over 50 films in the 15 years of his career. He made a name for himself as one of the top action stars in the South Korean film industry.

His inclusion with get a lot of international recognition for 'Spirit' and sources say that it is going to be a Villain role. Talking about the film's budget Sandeep Vanga once said, “I think because the kind of budget they are putting, I feel the producer is safe. With Prabhas and my combination along with satellite and digital rights, we can recover our budget there itself. If everything goes well with the teaser, trailer and songs pre-release and whatever we do to grab the audience's attention, opening day would be ₹150 crore. It's a trade calculation. It should be worldwide or pan-India. Easily it could be ₹150 crore in one day for a film like this if the material is good.”

This is going to be Prabhas' 25th film.
