Actor and YSRCP member Alluri Krishnam Raju, popularly known as Krishnudu recently met YSR Congress Party chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy. The meeting took place on Wednesday night and Krishnudu shared a photo from the meet on social media. What caught everyone's attention was his remarkable transformation.

Krishnudu who started his career as a comedian was known for his heavy physique. He maintained the same look for many years without making efforts to lose weight. However his recent makeover has surprised fans as he appears much slimmer and more refined.

Long ago Krishnudu even played the lead role in a movies like Vinayukudu. His acting skills were widely appreciated. Despite his active presence in films, he decided to enter politics and joined YSR Congress Party (YSRCP). Initially he was enthusiastic about party activities but later became inactive. However, he never distanced himself completely from the party. His recent visit to Tadepalli to meet Jagan Mohan Reddy has sparked discussions about his political involvement.

Many people are unaware of Krishnudu’s family background. Though he is seen in comedy roles in films, he actually comes from a zamindar family. His father Alluri Venkata Suryanarayana Raju was a notable personality. In the 1970s, when Indira Gandhi’s government introduced the Land Ceiling Act, Krishnudu’s family lost nearly 4,500 acres of land to the government. This was one of the largest land losses suffered by a single family in Andhra Pradesh at that time.

Coming to the present, Krishnudu’s transformation and his meeting with Jagan Mohan Reddy have once again put him in the spotlight. Fans are now curious to see if he will make a comeback in films or play an active role in politics.
