Krithi Shetty Reveals Spooky Night With Ghostly Hotel Visitor

Krithi Shetty, who is gearing up for her upcoming film LIK, has been keeping fans hooked with her candid interviews. After her debut Uppena, she faced a string of flops, and these three Tamil films are her chance to make a mark. She’s been promoting them non-stop and even went viral recently for getting emotional in an interview.

The young actress recently shared a creepy experience she had just before shooting started for her new movie Va Vattiyar, directed by Nalan Kumaraswamy and starring Tamil actor Karthi. Krithi plays a gypsy girl who talks to spirits, and she said the night before filming, she saw a spirit in her hotel room while staying with her mother. “We turned on the light, heard a loud noise, and it disappeared,” she recalled.

Krithi admitted she’s not sure whether the spirit was trying to help her or if it was connected to her preparation for the role. She has believed in spirits from the start, as she comes from the Tulu tradition, where ancestors are considered protective gods. This incident, she said, made her belief even stronger.

She also mentioned that the experience gave her extra confidence for the role and helped her connect more deeply with her character. While Karthi plays a police officer, other key actors in the film include Sathyaraj, Raj Kiran, Anand Raj, and Karunakaran.
