Tamil Debut: Kriti Shetty Follows Sreeleela's Fate

Some heroines start on a promising note with their debut film itself, and Kriti Shetty is one such example. She made her debut with the “Uppena” movie earlier and made a huge name for herself. Later, she starred in many movies in Tollywood, but nothing worked out in her favour. Here comes her Tamil debut now.

Recently released Karthi starrer “Vaa Vaathiyar”, which hit cinemas on January 15th, has failed to click at the Tamil box office. This film marks the debut of Kriti Shetty in Kollywood, though Pradeep Ranganathan’s Love Insurance Kompany was the first film she did there. However, the film didn’t work at the box office, while LIK got postponed twice already, leaving Krithi in confusion.

Coming to Sreeleela, she too did a bunch of films in Telugu in recent times, but nothing worked, and she tested her luck in Tamil. However, her debut Kollywood film, Shivakarthikeyan’s Parasakthi, also met a similar fate at the Box Office. After all the release controversies, the film hit cinemas, but failed to entice the audience.

Guess what, despite scoring only flops in recent times, both Sreeleela and Kriti Shetty are still in hot demand in Tollywood, and also Kollywood filmmakers are looking forward to casting them.
