Kubera Promises Grand Entertainment with Powerful Emotions

Kubera is one of the most awaited pan-India films of this year. Directed by Shekhar Kammula, the film features superstar Dhanush, king Nagarjuna, and popular actress Rashmika Mandanna in key roles. The movie is being made with a huge budget and high production values by producers Sunil Narang and Puskur Ram Mohan Rao under SVCLLP in association with Amigos Creations Pvt Ltd.

According to the producers, Kubera will be a game-changer in Indian cinema. The promotional content released so far, including songs like Poi Ra Mama, Trans of Kubera, and PP Dum Dum has received tremendous response from audiences. The music, composed by Devi Sri Prasad, is already trending on top music charts. Interestingly, Dhanush has sung two songs in the film.

The story of Kubera highlights a unique conflict the richest man in the world and the poorest man on the streets. Shekhar Kammula, known for his emotional storytelling, has designed this film to connect deeply with viewers. The producers shared that Shekhar Kammula approached them with this idea after his film Love Story. Dhanush agreed to act in the film within 20 minutes of hearing the story.

Shooting for Kubera took place in real locations, including slums, garbage dumps, and busy streets of Mumbai, which brought many challenges. The team wanted everything to look real, so they did not compromise on the budget. The film will be released grandly on June 20 in Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, Kannada, and Malayalam languages across about 1600 screens.

Nagarjuna’s role was specially written for him, and the makers said no one else could have done justice to it. The film is expected to give audiences a fresh and different experience. After Kubera, Shekhar Kammula is planning another project with the same team, but the hero is yet to be finalized.
