Rajamouli was the special guest for the pre-release event of Kuberaa last night. As expected, he delivered a very straightforward speech at the event and did not have any apprehension when it comes to addressing crucial topics regarding the cast and crew of this film.

Ace filmmaker S.S. Rajamouli said that he does not make films to give messages or teach lessons. According to him, cinema is not the right place for messages. He said that his main goal is to entertain people and make them feel emotions like joy, excitement, or thrill.

He said Sekhar Kammula is a very stubborn individual and wants to get his desired output, regardless of the situation or the repercussions. He then praised Nagarjuna and Dhanush and other actress associated with the film for their sincere efforts.

Rajamouli explained that if a filmmaker focuses too much on giving messages, it could take away the fun from the film. He said, “I am not a teacher. I am a storyteller.” He wants people to enjoy the story, connect with the characters, and feel something while watching his films.

He also talked about the importance of family. Rajamouli said that family is the biggest strength in life. He shared that his father, wife, and son have always supported him. He believes their encouragement helped him reach this stage.

Lastly, he said that discipline and hard work are the keys to success. He advised young filmmakers and audiences to never stop dreaming and to always put in their best effort. For Rajamouli, creating cinema is about passion, not preaching.
