Motion Poster: Nithya As Independent & Fearless 'Kumari Srimathi'!

Swapna Dutt and Priyanka Dutt are known for believing in stories more than heroes and their market values. They made hit movies like 'Evade Subramanyam', 'Jathiratnalu', 'Sita Ramam' and 'Mahanati' till date. After hitting a roadblock with 'Anni Manchi Sakunamule', they are ready to bounce back with a web series this time.

Nithya Menen is playing the lead role in this series titled 'Kumari Srimathi'. The motion poster released recently and it establishes the character of the main lead perfectly. Srinivas Avasarala has written and created this series while Gomtesh Upadhye is directing it. We can hear two women talking about 'Kumari Srimathi'.

They talk about how Srimathi wants to take care of the entire family by doing business and not a job. Also, they talk about how she is not yet married and we can understand that Nithya Menen will be seen as an independent and fearless woman who wants to live on her own terms and not to succumb to societal pressure.

Amazon Prime Video will be streaming it while Mohan Krishna is taking care of cinematography. Kamran and Staccato are giving the music. It will be released in four languages and will have 7 episodes. It looks like we are going to get a quality web series and let us see if it happens or not.
