After Disappointing 'Leo', LCU Fans Pin Hopes On Dilli!

Thalapathy Vijay's recent outing 'Leo' which came out with grand expectations opened to packed grounds and it is creating a lot of records in Tamil Nadu as well. But the movie is being subjected to a lot of criticism for not reaching the expectations and many are claiming that Lokesh Kanagaraj failed badly this time. Many claim that it is the weakest movie in the Lokesh Cinematic Universe.

The slick making and stylish action sequences are a big plus but the wafer-thin storyline paired with an absurd flashback including human sacrifices did not appeal to the audience. Though they tried to bring some enthusiasm at last by bringing a few characters from LCU into 'Leo', the movie is nowhere near 'Khaidi' or 'Vikram'. Now that, 'Leo' is part of the Lokesh Cinematic Universe, we need to wait and see what he does with Thalaivar 171. The cast is already introduced and we need to see if it gets included in LCU or not.

But it is not Rajni's film for which Lokesh's fans are waiting for. They are eager to see 'Khaidi 2' and see the backstory of Dilli's character. As we know, it is going to be a prequel to 'Khaidi'. The way Karthi was portrayed in the movie is phenomenal and fans can't wait to see what made him go to jail before that one night.

We all saw how the audience went crazy when Dilli's character was just hinted at in 'Vikram'. He needs to be explored more and it looks like this movie will go on floors once Rajni's film is wrapped up. Knowing Lokesh, Rajnikanth's movie might take a year but it will be great to see Karthi, Suriya, Kamal Haasan, Vijay and Fahadh Fasil in a single movie.
