By: Shanaz B Syed | 7 July 2026 1:21 PM ISTThis coming Friday, another most delayed films is hitting cinemas, and it is none other than Akhil Akkineni’s long-awaited film “Lenin”. While the trailer gave Rangasthalam-like vibes set in the Rayalaseema region, surely the 32-year-old hero is looking forward to scoring the first blockbuster of his career, which has already spanned over a decade. Here are the two most important people in the team, who need a blockbuster success from Lenin badly.
The first and foremost is Akhil only, which anyone would notice, because his career is currently going very flat with no proper market, returns and films that speak volumes in terms of his presence. So, at all costs, Lenin should become that Rangasthalam, Vedam and others in his career; either they should be talking about the movie’s collections or the hero’s performance. Otherwise, Akhil will be slowed down pretty well in terms of his next projects.
Coming to the next, many wonder whether Bhagyashree Bhorse needs a hit, and Sithara Vamsi needs a blockbuster for his company. However, these two will have projects no matter what. Bhorse is already signing movies left, right and centre for the kind of glamorous charm she creates. So a hit or miss doesn’t matter to her. At the same time, Sithara has more than a half dozen films lined up, and there are 3-4 projects amongst that bunch, which will end up as above-average performers. So no worries for Sithara Vamsi also.
The main contender will be newcomer director Murali Kishore Abburu because only a successful film will beget another chance for newcomers these days. That too, directors who scored blockbusters on their debut are waiting for 3-4 years to bring their next. So he has to score at any cost. Let’s see on July 10th, what happens.
