Vignesh-Pradeep-Anirudh's LIK First Promo Fails To Meet Expectations But!

Tamil fans have been waiting ages for this combo. Director Vignesh Shivan, known for his amazing direction in romantic comedies, Pradeep Ranganathan with his lucky streak of 100-crore hits, and Music Composer Anirudh who doesn’t even need an intro anymore.

Naturally, the hype for Love Insurance Kompany went sky-high. So when the first song promo dropped, people were kind of, expecting a blast. Instead, the reaction felt a bit “that’s it?” Not bad, just not the punch they thought they’d get.

The new song, ‘Pattuma’, is the second one after ‘Dheema’. The poster looked wild, bright colours, a proper 2040 vibe, love mixed with tech and all that future stuff. But the promo didn’t carry the same energy. Almost like the poster and promo weren’t talking to each other. Still, the full song comes out today at 6 PM, so fans are holding their breath and keeping their complaints half-muted till then.

Even with the mixed buzz, nobody is writing the film off. It’s Vignesh, Pradeep, and Anirudh, some magic usually shows up sooner or later. One slightly dull promo won’t shake that belief. People just want the full song to land better and bring that “ahh okay, now we’re talking” feeling back.

The movie releases on December 18, and honestly, it’s a big one for Krithi Shetty too. She’s had a rough few years, a bunch of flops piling up, so LIK is turning into a make-or-break moment for her. If this film works, it’ll be a nice bounce back for her and a sweet win for the whole team.
