OTT: First part was loved, Sequel is getting bashed!
However, the second part which was released in theatres, last month could not generate even remotely close word of mouth.

The first part of this film was a big success at the ticket counter, and it was received very well on the OTT space as well. It turned out to be one of the better made comedy oriented films in Telugu cinema in recent years.
However, the second part which was released in theatres, last month could not generate even remotely close word of mouth. The sequel opened to largely weak reviews and mediocre word of mouth.
The positive reviews and good reception for the first part on OTT did not turn out to be the case with the second part. It needs to be said that the sequel could not match the originality and comedy quotient of the first part, and the same is being reflected in the reviews that are coming out after the OTT debut on Netflix.
Many people who have watched the film on OTT are saying that the first part is far better than the sequel and their of the opinion that the makers did not take proper care of the second part.
In the meanwhile, the makers are contemplating the idea of bringing together the worlds of Mad and DJ Tillu for their upcoming crossover.
