Madhavan Terrifies With His Performance In 'Shaitaan'!

Three movies namely 'Gaami', 'Bhimaa' and 'Premalu' released this Friday which kept movie lovers busy. But there is another interesting Bollywood project which arrived this weekend and it is the horror thriller 'Shaitaan'. The trailer generated a lot of buzz and a star cast like Ajay Devgn, Jyothika and Madhavan increased the expectations on the movie.

It is a Bollywood remake of Gujarati film 'Vash' and sources say that 'Shaitaan' bagged 14 crores on the first day despite the divide talk. With the movie getting a solo release, it is expected to do good business in the coming days. Going into the story, Kabir (Ajay Devgn) and Jyothi (Joythika) are husband and wife who have a teenage daughter Janhvi (Janki Bodiwala) and a son.

Madhavan plays the role of a hypnotizer who takes Ajay Devgn's daughter under his control. She does whatever he tells her to do. The situation becomes so worse and how Kabir saves his family from Madhavan forms the rest of the story.

There are no big twists in the movie but there are many thrilling moments. Director Vikas Bahl makes a xerox copy of the original. People who watched movies like 'Virupaksha', and 'Maa Oori Polimera' might not find it too exciting but 'Shaitaan' should be watched for Madhav's performance. He did a fantastic job and will send shivers down your spine. Janki Bodiwala too did great. Seniors like Ajay and Jyothika did well too and you can have this horror thriller a go during your free time this weekend.
