Prasanth Casting These Heroes In His Version Of 'Mahabharatam'!

Legendary personalities like NTR and ANR played a lot of mythological characters in their lifetime. The filmmakers at that time gave a visual form to all the great stories of our history and culture. But mythology as a genre faded away over the last three decades. It is coming back to life again with the current generation of filmmakers showing interest in bringing our Indian mythologies onto the big screens.

As we know, Rajamouli's dream project is 'Mahabharatam'. Om Raut made the story of Ramayan as 'Adipurush' with Prabhas as the hero. Nitesh Tiwari is also making Ramayan with Ranbir Kapoor as the lead. Recently, creative young talent Prasanth Varma who is making unconventional films has also revealed that he wants to make Mahabharatam in the future.

He is currently promoting the release of his film 'Hanu-Man' where hero Teja Sajja plays the lead role who has superpowers that are derived from Anjaneya. There are good expectations on this movie and during one interview, Prasanth was asked about his dream casting for 'Mahabharatam'. He gave a big list which made the audience feel very excited about its possibility.

According to him, Chiranjeevi will be cast as Dharmaraju while Ram Charan will play the role of Arjuna. Bheema's character will be done by NTR while Nakula Sahadeva's roles will be portrayed by Vijay Deverakonda and Nani respectively. Lord Krishna's role belongs to Mahesh Babu while Prasanth says that Mohan Babu is apt for Dhuryodhana's role. Nayanthra is the perfect choice for Draupadi while Pawan Kalyan will be seen as Karna. This is the vision of Prasanth Varma and fans are wishing that it truly happens one day.
