Mahesh Babu Set To Launch New Hyderabad Theatre Soon

Looks like Superstar Mahesh Babu isn’t just ruling the box office. The superstar, who’s busy with his upcoming Varanasi and the recently released Sanchari, is also making moves on YouTube. His luxury chain, AMB Cinemas, already a hit in Hyderabad for its plush theatres and premium vibe, is reportedly getting ready for a third branch.

Buzz is floating around that the new spot will be in Hakimpet, with construction already in motion. Word on the street even hints at an IMAX screen, though nothing official yet. Fans are definitely curious to see what this one will look like.

The first AMB opened in late 2018 at Sarath City Capital Mall, Hyderabad, in partnership with Asian Cinemas, and it instantly became popular for its tech and luxe feel. The second one, AMB Classic, was announced late 2025 and is set to open by mid-2026, promising the same comfort and fancy experience.

The brand isn’t stopping in Hyderabad. AMB has already expanded to Bengaluru, with new locations in Goa, Chennai, and now Hakimpet in the works. The existing Hyderabad theatres, AMB at Gachibowli and the upcoming AMB Classic at RTC X Roads, are proof that Mahesh Babu isn’t just a star, he’s building an empire.
