Mahesh & Prashanth Neel: What's Cooking?

Tollywood’s top-tier heroes are already having crazy projects on hand with crazy directors. Of them, Prabhas and Allu Arjun have almost two films lined up after the one they are doing right now releases. While Prabhas has Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s Spirit after Fauzi and Kalki 2898 AD, Allu Arjun has Lokesh Kanagaraj and Basil Joseph’s films lined up. Among the top lot, it’s Mahesh Babu who doesn’t have his next locked, though he’s working with legendary filmmaker SS Rajamouli now.

Currently, Mahesh is focusing only on wrapping up Varanasi, as the shooting is progressing in India in a big way. However, it’s coming out that the actor doesn’t want to waste the opportunity of working with other star directors as soon as Varanasi releases. The buzz is doing rounds that already Mahesh has met Prashanth Neel, and the two might do a film together after both their current movies release. Neel has Jr NTR’s Dragon that is set for a release in June next year.

But then, Neel has Prabhas’ Salaar 2 lined up, so only after that film gets completed, he might get time to do a film with Mahesh Babu. Star directors like Sandeep Reddy Vanga and Prashanth Neel are, however, keeping their options open, and meeting every possible star hero. But only the moment a film gets announced, it gets confirmed; until then, everything is a rumour. So wait for the right combo to happen soon.
