Superstar Mahesh Babu has already dedicated the prime time of his career to just one film, and that happens to be legendary filmmaker SS Rajamouli’s Varanasi movie only. For a long time, this globetrotting action film has been shot at different places around the world. With a star cast like Mahesh, Priyanka Chopra, and Prithviraj Sukumar in place, surely the trusted filmmaker of India carves out something bigger and better. Here’s what's happening with the movie now.

After canning some important underwater sequences and other sequences on the specially built Varanasi set and in places like Uttara Pradesh’s Prayag Raj and others, the unit has currently stationed in Hyderabad only. While Priyanka Chopra is chilling out in the city, going to AMB Cinemas and other popular destinations along with Namrata Shirodkar, Mahesh is currently taking a break. News it that the makers are now planning for a month long action-sequences to be shot in Hyderabad. Reportedly, Mahesh will take part in the month-long sequences shoot before actually taking a break. He will be indulging in heavy-duty action, and a lot of stunt work will be done by himself only.

We all know how perfectionist Rajamouli is, that too when it comes to action. Definitely, this month long of action is going to be quite tiresome one, and Mahesh Babu might head for a big break after the shoot is done. With Varanasi scheduled for April 2027 release, surely the film has to be shot continuously to meet the release deadlines.
