October Deadline For Rajamouli’s Varanasi

Legendary director SS Rajamouli’s next film features Superstar Mahesh in the lead, along with Bollywood diva Priyanka Chopra and Malayalam star Prithviraj Sukumar as the villain. The film is locked for an April 7, 2027 release, and many are wondering if Rajamouli will stick to the release date for the first time in his career, as he always postpones his movies by a couple of days.

Reports are coming that the shooting of Varanasi is almost coming to an end, and the shooting has reached the final phase now. All the scenes involving the young Mahesh Babu are being canned now, and by the end of October, the total shooting of Varanasi, including the patch-work and other stuff, will be wrapped. And already, VFX teams are working day and night to bring out the desired effects and quality.

If all the things go as planned, including the release of the six songs from the film, and the promotions, then April 7th is going to be a blast in theatres. For now, Rajamouli hasn’t even started any promotional work as he has to wrap the shooting. Once that’s done, maybe he will start releasing the songs from the movie.
