Will Mahesh Babu Fulfill His Father Krishna’s Dream Project?

Though Mahesh Babu has not yet appeared in a full-fledged pan-Indian film, he is already well-known across the nation. With his upcoming film SSMB 29 directed by Rajamouli, the superstar is aiming for global recognition and even eyeing world records. Meanwhile, what's interesting is that many from the Ghattamaneni family fans are curious whether this junior superstar will fulfill the lifelong dream of his father, the legendary senior superstar Krishna.

Superstar Krishna always dreamed of making a grand film on Chhatrapati Shivaji. It's the biopic of a great Maratha warrior and he wanted to tell Shivaji’s heroic story on a big scale. After his blockbuster film Simhasanam, he thought of starting the project. However it could not happen due to various obstacles. To fulfill his dream in some way, Krishna dressed as Shivaji in films like Number One and Chandrahas.

Ajay Devgn’s Tanhaji proved this and Vicky Kaushal Chhaava took it to the next level. With Chhaava it's proven that even a mid-range actor can achieve huge success with a well-made historical film. Imagine what would happen if a superstar like Mahesh Babu played Chhatrapati Shivaji after SSMB29. Fans believe that he can fulfill Krishna’s dream and at same time can enhance Mahesh Babu’s fame.
