Fans of Superstar Mahesh Babu have been eagerly awaiting updates on his upcoming film tentatively titled SSMB29 directed by the acclaimed SS Rajamouli. Recently, Rajamouli shared a post on social media holding Mahesh Babu's passport creating excitement among fans.

Meanwhile, expectations for SSMB29 have been further heightened by reports suggesting that global icon Priyanka Chopra Jonas is being considered for the lead female role. According to sources, Mahesh Babu and Priyanka Chopra recently participated in a workshop in Hyderabad. During this session, they engaged in script-reading exercises and underwent look tests to develop their on-screen chemistry and align with the film's vision.

What's more interesting is that considering the story, the team is considering a global title for the film. As the the story is expected to span multiple generations, the title would be the word that has “Generation,” in it.

Reports also suggest that the protagonist played by Mahesh Babu will be inspired by Lord Hanuman from Hindu mythology. SSMB29 is described as an ambitious project with a substantial budget rumored to be between Rs. 900-1000 crores. The film is expected to be a globe-trotting action-adventure with reports indicating that it will be set against the backdrop of the Amazon rainforest. The story developed over two years by screenwriter Vijayendra Prasad, aims to introduce a fresh and grand world to Indian audiences.
