The teaser launch event of Kurma Avatar took place on August 31, 2026, at AAA Cinemas in Ameerpet, Hyderabad. The event was attended by several popular names from the Telugu and Kannada film industries. Actors Shiva Rajkumar, Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, Sai Kumar and Raj Tarun, along with producer Dil Raju, were among the guests.

The film is written and directed by Harrshavardhan Kadiyaala. B. Ajaneesh Loknath is composing the music. The movie is being produced by Panchavaktra Pictures and Rukvina Studios.

During the event, actor Mahesh Vitta spoke about Shiva Rajkumar and his long career. His speech was meant to praise the senior actor and his impressive record. However, one small mistake in his speech has now become a major topic of discussion on social media.

Mahesh Vitta said that Shiva Rajkumar's film had been re-released 650 times, including 75 times with 100-day runs. He also said that such a record could not be broken by anyone.

However, it appears that Mahesh Vitta actually meant 65 times, not 650 times. A simple number mistake while speaking turned the statement into a funny moment for many social media users.

Soon after the speech, screenshots and comments about the statement started circulating online. Some users questioned the huge number, while others joked about the calculation. A few social media posts even tried to calculate how such a record would be possible over the actor's career.

One social media user pointed out, “65 times, not 650.” Another joked about the 650 figure and tried to calculate the number of days involved. The incident has now taken attention away from the original point of Mahesh Vitta's speech. Instead of focusing only on his praise for Shiva Rajkumar, many netizens are discussing the number slip.

It is clearly a small speaking mistake, but social media has made it much bigger. Such incidents often become viral because users quickly turn them into memes and jokes.

Mahesh Vitta's intention was to praise Shiva Rajkumar's achievements. However, his “650 times” statement has given netizens a new topic to discuss online.
