Mahesh – Rajamouli's Project To Be Launched On Ugadi?

Superstar Mahesh Babu proved his box-office stamina once again with 'Guntur Karam'. Despite getting mixed responses initially, Mahesh managed to get over 200 crores of collections. Without celebrating too much, the superstar has shifted focus to his next project. He is currently in Germany where he is engaged in the pre-production works of his movie with SS Rajamouli.

The elite director is known for his perfection and he announced a movie with Mahesh Babu long back. After a lot of delays, SSMB29 is finally getting launched and insiders reveal that the team fixed Ugadi as the perfect launch date. The Telugu New Year is on 9th April 2024 and buzz reveals that the team is setting Ugadi 2026 as the target of the movie's release.

As we know, Rajamouli teamed up with the Creative Artists Agency (CAA) last year and he will be hiring a lot of Hollywood actors for this globetrotting adventure. MM Keeravani is going to compose music as usual and there is a lot of talk about Senthil Kumar being replaced. We need to see if it is official or not. Grapevine suggests that the movie will be made on a massive budget of over 1500 crores. KL Narayana will be bankrolling this film along with a top Hollywood studio.

Rajamouli is also planning a workshop which will be done by the entire crew of #SSMB29 and reports claim that the shooting will be done in three different countries. A majority of shooting is expected to be done in the dense Amazon forests.
