Get Ready To Witness Mahesh As Voice Of 'Mufasa'!

Superstar Mahesh Babu is currently getting ready for SS Rajamouli's action adventure and this film may take years before coming out in theatres. In the meanwhile, Mahesh is readying a sweet surprise for everyone. Making the rumors true, the star hero will become the voice of 'Mufasa' in the Telugu version of 'Mufasa: The Lion King'.

He has given voiceovers for films like 'Jalsa', 'Baadshah' and others before but it is the first time that he would be giving voice for an animated Hollywood film. The movie is arriving on 20th December and it will be released in English, Hindi, Tamil and Telugu languages. The Telugu trailer will be coming out on 26th August at 11:07 AM. We will get to hear Mahesh's voice for the first time in this film. Fans are really excited about it.

'Mufasa' enlists Rafiki to relay the legend of Mufasa to young lion cub Kiara, daughter of Simba and Nala, with Timon and Pumbaa lending their signature schtick. Told in flashbacks, the story introduces Mufasa as an orphaned cub, lost and alone until he meets a sympathetic lion named Taka—the heir to a royal bloodline.

The chance meeting sets in motion an expansive journey of an extraordinary group of misfits searching for their destiny—their bonds will be tested as they work together to evade a threatening and deadly foe. It is Aaron Pierre who is lending his voice for 'Mufasa' role in English. It is produced by Walt Disney Studios.
