Team Patang Locks Its Flight Soaring Into Theatres This Christmas!

On the festive occasion of Diwali, Team Patang has announced their much-awaited release date with a bang! The film is all set to hit theatres worldwide on December 25th, 2025, coinciding with the Christmas festival.

Originally slated for a December 27th release last year, the team postponed the film to allow time for extensive CG work. Determined not to miss another December, the makers have meticulously planned their calendar and are now all set to bring Patang to the big screens bigger, brighter, and better than ever.

Touted as a sports comedy with heart, Patang unfolds against the vibrant backdrop of a kite-flying competition, a concept being explored for the first time in Telugu cinema.

The film stars debutants Preethi Pagadala, Vamssi Pujit, and Pranav Kaushik in the lead roles, supported by a host of talented newcomers. The ensemble also features Anu Hassan, S.P. Charan, Vadlamani Srinivas, Vishnu Oi, and Sivanarayana, along with a few exciting surprise cameos.

The team plans to kickstart promotions soon, with a wave of exciting content and festive buzz on the way.

Patang marks the directorial debut of Praneeth Prattipati, and is produced under the banners of Cinematic Elements and Rishaan Cinemas by Vijay Sekhar Anne, Sampath Maka, Suresh Reddy Kothinti, and Naani Bandreddi.
