Malaika Arora's Father Dies By Allegedly Jumping Off The Terrace!

Actress, dancer and model Malaika Arora's father Anil Arora has passed away this morning by committing suicide. He jumped off the terrace of his seven-storied building located at Bandra this morning at 9 AM.

The police have immediately reached the spot and ANI tweeted, “Father of actress-model Malaika Arora died by suicide by jumping off a terrace. The police team is present at the spot: Mumbai Police.” A source told the Press Trust of India, “It's true that Malaika's father passed away this morning. He has not committed suicide, it's an accident. They all are shocked because he had no ailment or anything as such.”

Malaika's ex-husband Arbaaz Khan was spotted arriving to Malaika's family home in Mumbai this morning to offer his support. The location was surrounded by police personnel. Malaika's parents got separated when she was 11 and she lived with her mother and sister Amritha.

Anil Arora worked in the Indian Merchant Navy and he is a Punjabi Hindu. In an interview, Malaika said, “My parents' separation allowed me to observe my mother through a new and unique lens. I learned a rock-steady work ethic and the value of getting up each morning to do whatever it takes to become fiercely independent. Those early lessons are the cornerstones of my life and professional journey. I am still fiercely independent; I value my freedom and live life on my terms.”

Malaika was married to Arbaaz Khan for 19 years before getting separated in 2016. She dated Arjun Kapoor for a few years before breaking it off with him. She has a son named Arhaan who was born in 2002. More details regarding Malaika's father Anil's death will be revealed in the days to come.
