Malayalam Cinema Delivers 4 Hits Within A Month!

There is no big hit in Tollywood post Sankranti. A few good films came out but the collections are not so huge. 'Hanu-Man' is still running in a few theatres which explains the impact created by the releases after Pongal. The same is the situation with the Tamil film industry. February is considered an unseason because not many interesting projects arrive during this time.

But the Malayalam film industry is delivering one blockbuster after another during this period. Their films are having a dream run at the box office. Tovino Thomas arrived in the first week with 'Anweshippin Kandethum' and it got a positive talk. It is racing towards becoming a super hit while 'Premalu' arrived on the second week. This youthful love story has created a sensation. It is running with housefuls in the second week too. Interestingly, it is doing good business in Hyderabad too.

Legendary hero Mammootty's 'Brahmayugam' was released in the third week and got a blockbuster talk. This horror thriller is getting fantastic reports and the collections are huge. While these three are going on a great run, another Malayalam film is pleasing the audience. It is Manjummel Boys which doesn't have any popular names from the Kerala industry. A lot of them are fresh faces and this thriller was released on Thursday. It is getting a positive talk and many critics are lauding that it is going to be a 100 crores movie.

On the whole, the Malayalam film industry is thriving in a dull month like February with four hits in a row.
