Every year, many big and small films arrive in theatres during this festive time hoping to attract family audiences. This year too, several movies were released. However, one film clearly stood tall above the rest Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu, starring Megastar Chiranjeevi.
From the very first day, the film showed extraordinary strength at the box office. Within just six days of its release, Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu successfully completed its breakeven target. This is a rare achievement, especially during a crowded festival season. The film also surprised trade circles by crossing the final BookMyShow ticket sales of They Call Him OG in just six days while that film took its full theatrical run to reach the same number.
In the overseas market, the movie created history for Chiranjeevi. It crossed the North America collections of Syeraa and became the highest-grossing film of his career in that region. Trade experts say the film is confidently moving towards the prestigious 3 million dollar mark in North America, which would be a career-best milestone for the Megastar.
Back in India, the film’s box office run is equally impressive. It is rapidly marching towards a massive ₹300 crore gross worldwide. On Day 6, Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu recorded one of the highest shares ever collected in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, standing just behind Sankranthiki Vasthunam. This clearly shows the film’s strong hold among family audiences.
Another major highlight is that the film broke the Day-5 industry record previously held by RRR, starring Ram Charan. Achieving this feat during a festival clash makes the success even more special.
Directed by hit-maker Anil Ravipudi, the film once again proves the powerful combination of strong entertainment, mass appeal, and Chiranjeevi’s unmatched stardom. With its current pace, Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu is inching closer to becoming an all-time regional industry hit.
