Good content coupled with Sankranthi holidays always yields the best results, and director Anil Ravipudi is one such craftsman who scores it out of the park every time. His latest directorial, Megastar Chiranjeevi’s Mana Shankara Varaprasad Garu, shows what he could do if real star power descends into his content.

In just 4 days of run at the box office, Chiranjeevi’s latest movie Mana Shankara Varaprasad Garu has clocked a worldwide gross of ₹190 crores, thus surprising even trade circles. The other day, being the core Sankranthi festival holiday, the film’s daily gross exceeded how much it collected on its Day 1 of release.

Reportedly, almost all the buyers of the film are likely to enter into the profit zone, with breakeven done, from the 5th day itself. That’s the true power of content and how Sankranthi holidays could benefit it. At the same time, the collections on Day 5 are also as stunning as on Sankranthi day, due to Kanuma being a bigger day of celebration for Telugu folks.

On the other hand, the midnight shows and early morning shows in the Andhra region have worked out hugely in favour of the movie, as those shows are getting filled with almost 100% occupancy. It’s a true Sankranthi bonanza for Megastar’s film.
