Chiru's MSG reigns supreme at the box office

Megastar Chiranjeevi and blockbuster director Anil Ravipudi have come together for a Mega Family Entertainer Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu. The movie produced by Sahu Garapati and Sushmita Konidela has become a huge blockbuster with Rs.120 crores gross worldwide in two days.

The movie collected Rs.84 crores on first day and Rs.36 crores on the second day. Within just two days, the movie entered into elite Rs.100 crores club. This is a phenomenal achievement for a regional family entertainer and showcases the kind of market that Anil Ravipudi and Megastar combination has tapped into.

In North America, the movie collected US$2.3 Million on Day 1, including record breaking premieres, making it the highest grossing film on Day 1 for Megastar Chiranjeevi. Anil Ravipudi reputation as the best family movie director and immaculate Box Office potential of Chiranjeevi has yielded huge blockbuster results.

Trade analysts are predicting the movie to collect record breaking numbers in the festival days. With family audiences flocking to theatres from Sunday premieres, the movie is set to become the Regional Industry Hit in Telugu Cinema. Victory Venkatesh played an extended cameo and Nayanthara is playing the leading lady role. Chiranjeevi and Anil have set big screens on fire this Sankranti festival.
