Chiranjeevi Reveals How His Film Stopped a Couple From Taking Divorce

Movies can strongly influence people’s thoughts and emotions. In Telugu families especially, cinema is not just entertainment but a part of daily life. A good film can make people laugh, cry and even rethink important life decisions. This idea became very clear after the release of the Sankranti blockbuster Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu.

Recently Chiranjeevi shared an emotional and inspiring incident in an interview. He revealed that a couple who had already decided to take a divorce changed their decision after watching this movie. Hearing this made Chiranjeevi feel extremely happy and proud, as an actor and as a human being.

According to Chiranjeevi, the husband and wife had been living separately for nearly three months and were sure about ending their marriage. During this time, both of them watched Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu separately. Some scenes in the film deeply touched them and made them think about their own relationship. After watching the movie, they decided to meet again, talk openly and give their marriage another chance. Finally they chose to live together and cancel their divorce.

Chiranjeevi especially mentioned one powerful scene in the movie. In that scene, the hero’s mother says that when problems come between a husband and wife, they should solve them together. She also says that outsiders should not interfere in personal matters. These dialogues created a strong impact on the couple and played a key role in changing their decision. Chiranjeevi praised director Anil Ravipudi for writing such meaningful scenes.

The film stars Nayanthara as the female lead opposite Chiranjeevi. The movie has also performed very well at the box office with collections close to ₹200 crore.
