Manchu Lakshmi Breaks Silence On Family Dispute

Manchu family's firstborn Manchu Lakshmi, now in Mumbai doing OTT shows and small, effective Bollywood cameos, spoke about her family post recently held her father Mohan Babu’s 50-year celebration, which was attended by senior actors and Rajinikanth, and directors and producers from the industry. She addressed disputes with her brothers, Manchu Vishnu and Manchu Manoj.

In a recent podcast, Lakshmi shared her personal experiences as a mother, sister, and daughter. “As a mother, I give myself 10 out of 10 marks,” she said candidly. On the family tensions, she added, “If God appeared and asked for a boon, I would only ask that our family become one again.”

She reflected on the nature of conflicts, saying they are normal in every family. “No matter how many differences we have, eventually we should come together. Sometimes people think quarrels will last a lifetime, especially in Indian families. That’s not right. Blood relations are what we have, and we must work to unite, not widen the gap,” Lakshmi explained.

She also addressed the media speculation around her silence. “I’m in Mumbai. Some wrote that I don’t care, but only I know my struggles. People created stories because I don’t speak about controversies. There’s no need to tell outsiders about my feelings or the pain I experienced in my family,” she said, keeping her tone firm yet composed.
