The teaser of David Reddy starring Manoj has been released and it marks a high intensity glimpse. The powerful visuals, strong background score and intense dialogues raised curiosity about the film.

After making a successful comeback in his second innings with Mirai, Manoj is now ready to come before audiences with a completely new and serious story. David Reddy looks very different from his previous films and promises a strong historical and emotional experience.

The teaser starts in a impactful way. A young son asks his father why there are loud sounds coming from their factory even during the night. The father replies that they are making “speed.” When the child asks what that speed means, the father explains by mentioning freedom fighters like Subhash Chandra Bose and Bhagat Singh. He then says it is time to learn about another powerful man : someone who was an enemy to the British and also even to Indians.

At that moment, Manoj appears on the screen. From there, the teaser slowly reveals how his character troubled the British rulers and became a strong force during that time. The narration builds tension and gives a hint of the fearless nature of David Reddy.

One of the most striking moments comes when Manoj starts his bike named “Wild Dog.” This scene adds style and energy to the teaser. The teaser ends with a powerful dialogue delivered by Manoj, “This is not British India. This is David Reddy’s India.”

This line alone has caught a lot of attention on social media.

The teaser also gives a clear hint that the story is set during the time of World War One. The makers reveal that the film’s story is set between 1897 and 1922. The movie is said to focus on the struggles, sacrifices, emotions and fights of people living under British rule. The movie highlights the injustice faced by common people and the courage of those who stood up against it.

The film is directed by Hanuma Reddy Yakkanti and produced by Motukuri Bharath and Nallagangula Venkat Reddy under the banner of Velvet Soul Motion Pictures.
