It is already known that Manchu Vishnu is currently occupied with the biggest project in his career Kannappa, which is reportedly being shot on a budget of ₹200 crore. Well, this project is currently in the production stage, it is preparing for release on June 20.

In the meanwhile, there is a new controversy surrounding this film as it has reportedly triggered the Brahman community in the Telugu states.

Manchu Vishnu has responded to recent allegations made by some members of the Brahmin community regarding his upcoming film Kannappa. There were concerns that the film portrays Lord Shiva in a disrespectful manner and could hurt religious sentiments.

Vishnu clarified that the film has been made with complete respect for Hindu traditions and Lord Shiva. He stated that the team took great care to ensure no content would offend anyone’s beliefs. Vishnu emphasized that the film was thoroughly reviewed by religious scholars and spiritual leaders before shooting began.

He even mentioned that important scenes were filmed only after taking blessings from priests and performing proper rituals.

He urged people not to judge the film based on rumors or assumptions and promised that Kannappa would be a proud film for all Hindus. Vishnu also appealed for unity, requesting everyone to wait until the movie releases before forming opinions. He concluded by saying the movie’s intention is to spread devotion, not create controversy.
