Manchu Vishnu Takes Another Risk With Kannappa

Manchu Vishnu had already revealed multiple times that Kannappa is by far the costliest film in his career, and he has spent his virtual everything on the same. This is already a big gamble as Vishnu has reportedly spent a lot of money on the making of this mega project.

And now it is being heard that Vishnu has taken another substantial risk with this film, and this is more in terms of film making choice as it is heard that the film is coming with a lengthy runtime.

According to the latest reports, mythological drama Kannappa, starring Vishnu Manchu, has locked a long runtime of 3 hours and 10 minutes. This matches the current trend in Indian cinema where epic films like RRR, Animal, and Pushpa have found great success with extended runtimes. These films use their length to build deep emotional stories and grand visuals, and Kannappa seems to follow the same formula.

Directed by Mukesh Kumar Singh, the film features a star-studded cast including Mohan Babu, Akshay Kumar, Prabhas, Mohanlal, Sarathkumar, Kajal Aggarwal, and Preity Mukundhan.

Vishnu Manchu not only plays the lead but has also written the script. The film is produced by Mohan Babu under the 24 Frames Factory banner. Music is composed by Stephen Devassy and cinematography is by Sheldon Chau.
