‘Mangalavaaram’ making video: Risky, complicated shots!
The film was shot for 100 days. And almost the entire shoot was done outdoors.

'Mangalavaaram' is a painstaking film, if what director Ajay Bhupathi of 'RX 100' fame says in the making video is anything to go by. From complex shots to camera angles that stay true to realism, everything tough went into the execution.
The film was shot for 100 days. And almost the entire shoot was done outdoors. The night shots in Athreyapuram tested the risk appetite of the technical team as well as the artists, who put in back-breaking work. "In a scene, a character jumps into a river body. The camera movement was done in such a way that the camera follows the diving person," Bhupathi says.
Payal Rajput has played her career's most performance-centric role. Then there is ‘Ganagana Mogalira’ (nicknamed the Jathara song), a composition of 400 not-so-easy shots.
Producers Swathi Reddy Gunupati and Suresh Varma of Mudhra Media Works and A Creative Works are ensuring the movie has a solid release this November 17th.
