Family Man's Latest Jab Gets Mixed Reaction

Talented Manoj Bajpayee always gets critics of Bollywood whenever he gets a chance to bash them. While promoting his latest movie Gajab Raat, the 57-year-old ‘The Family Man’ star stated that the Hindi film industry isn’t honouring talent the right way. And his latest jab isn’t getting a pure positive or negative reactions, but only mixed.

Apparently he stated that Bollywood is known for giving fewer oporutniites to talented people, and as they don’t get right offers and get stereotyped in no time, these actors with abundance of talent will fizzle out in no time. “Myself got very limited offers and only 25% of my acting potential was explored by Bollywood filmmakers so far”, said Manoj Bajpayee. However, these comments are getting mixed reactions, because these days, cinema is dependent on the revenue coming from the box office, and that limits producers and directors in terms of casting.

Manoj Bajpayee shot to fame with Satya movie and later on he got only artistic films and offbeat scripts to him, but not mainstream cinema. Producers usually cast only popular actors of mainstream cinema because a movie has to make money at the box office. Now that OTT is blooming, surely actors like Bajpayee are getting huge offers, and that doesn’t mean their talents are underutilised these days.
