Maran Becomes Talk Of The Town With His Gifts!

Usually, the relationship between the actors, crew and the producer lasts only till the movie hits the screens. After the team gets their remuneration, they move on to other projects. No producer thinks of sharing the happiness and profits with the actors and technicians if the movie turns out to be a super hit. In the same way, none of the team members show interest in returning back some of the money if the movie becomes a disaster. Only a few are exempt from this list and Sun Pictures owner Kalanithi Maran is one of them.

The way he has been gifting his 'Jailer' team has become the talk of the town. Recently, he gave a 100 crore cheque to Rajnikanth and gifted luxurious cars which cost more than a crore to director Nelson and music composer Anirudh Ravichander. He even gave cheques to a few and gave 50,000 to 1 lakh for each member who worked on the movie in various departments. This news doing rounds in the Chennai circles.

This happened in Tollywood too but producers or heroes only gift cars to directors and not the entire team. We have seen filmmakers like Puri Jagannadh, Koratala Siva, Maruthi, Venky Kudumula, Sai Rajesh and others receiving cars as gifts. Many are saying that producers should learn from Kalanithi Maran but we need to understand that he is a huge businessman who owns various industries. Not every producer is as rich as him.
