March 2025: Busy Month For Tollywood!

This February was a rather fruitful one for Telugu Cinema as we had a handful of films that worked at the ticket counters last month. In particular, Naga Chaitanya’s Thandel, and dubbed film Chaava worked at the box office.

Coming to March this month again, promises to be another interesting one for Tollywood as we have multiple promising films ahead.

First in line is the Telugu dubbed version of Chaava which is releasing on March 7. Considering the tremendous success of the Hindi version, the Telugu version is also projected to do good.

Then we have Dilruba and Court which are releasing on March 14. While Dilruba is a comedy entertainer with a commercial touch, featuring Kiran Abbavaram in the lead role, Court is a slick courtroom drama which has Priyadarshi in the lead role.

Then come the mainstream and most lucrative options of the month in the form of Mad Square and Robinhood. Mad Square is a comedy entertainer and a sequel for blockbuster, Mad, the other option is Robinhood with Nithiin in the lead role. These films are being aggressively promoted by the respective makers.

Pawan Kalyan’s Hari Hara Veera Mallu is also tentatively lined up for release on March 28, as is being communicated by the makers. Though the chances of the film actually releasing on this date or low, the makers are repeatedly publishing the same.

We then have two mainstream dubbed options in the form of Sikander(March 28) and L2E Empuran(March 28). Empuran is the sequel to blockbuster Malayalam film, Lucifer and it carries great hype in the Malayalam market. It has to be seen if either of these films would be able to entertain the Telugu audience.
