Naresh Agastya Films Marokkasari At India’s Highest Point

Some films are just made on a set. Some travel a few states. But Marokkasari? It climbed to the top of India, literally. Actor Naresh Agastya and actress Sanjana Sarathi teamed up for this unique project, directed by Nithin Lingutla and backed by producer B. Chandrakanth Reddy under CK Filmmakers. Recently, the team unveiled the film’s first look poster, giving audiences a taste of what’s coming.

This is not your usual shooting location story. The crew packed their bags and went all the way to the borders of Kerala, Sikkim, and Tibet to capture visuals that most people will never see in person. One highlight is Gurudongmar Lake, a stunning, high-altitude wonder at 5,430 metres above sea level. Until now, no Indian film had ever been shot there. Marokkasari now holds that record, making its location as special as its story.

The poster hints at a warm, heartfelt love story set against the cool backdrop of snow peaks and rare landscapes. It’s the kind of mix where nature becomes as much a character as the actors. The shoot is done, and the film has entered post-production. Soon, a release date will be announced, but for now, the visuals alone are enough to spark curiosity.

Joining Naresh and Sanjana in this adventure are talented names like Brahmaji, Sudharshan, Venkat, Venkat Kakamanu, and Divyavani. With such a mix of cast and an extraordinary shooting spot, Marokkasari promises something beyond routine cinema, a love story told at a height where the air is thin, but the emotions run deep.
