Maruthi’s Next Project: All Rumours Are Baseless

Now that ‘The Raja Saab’ has evoked mixed responses, and the trade analysts are predicting huge losses for the Prabhas starrer that has the likes of Nidhie Aggerwal, Malavika Mohanan and Riddhi Kumar as female leads. At this juncture, many rumours are popping up regarding the director's next project, and here’s what he has to clarify about them.

Over the last two days, it has come out that Maruthi will be directing a mega hero in his next film. As he happens to be a close friend of Allu Arjun, and now that he has crafted a big-budget movie, it came out that a young mega hero will be teaming up with him. However, Maruthi’s team clarified officially that there is no truth in this, and any project that is happening will be officially announced by the director only.

Industry insiders also felt that these are the days where only a hit film can define the immediate next project of a director, but a film that got mixed-responses and posted Box Office losses, won’t immediately result in a movie. Maybe Maruthi will take some time to assess what’s really happening and where it went wrong before writing a new story and convincing another star hero.

Earlier, when Maruthi scored a flop, he used to take a huge time to come up with his next, to make sure that he delivers a blockbuster. The likes of Bhale Bhale Magadivoyi and Mahanubhavudu are a result of that only.
