Maruthi’s Six Scripts Set Industry on Fire

Director Maruthi isn’t just focused on the post-production of Rajasab he’s quietly building something much bigger behind the scenes. Known for his knack for storytelling, Maruthi has penned six different scripts, each of which will be handled by a different director. These projects are being prepped individually with separate producers, turning Maruthi into a storyteller behind a small cinematic universe.

Interestingly, this isn’t his first experiment with handing over his stories to other directors. A few such films have already made it to the screens. The current batch of six stories is now being shaped by fresh directors who’ve recently delivered notable hits. Once the screenplays are locked, casting will begin, and the projects will head to floors one by one.

Maruthi, who is known for quickly wrapping up scripts, had these stories ready but waiting. Instead of shelving them, he has passed them on so they can see the light of day. This strategy not only gives his stories a broader reach but also helps emerging filmmakers find their voice through tested content.

Meanwhile, whispers suggest that once Rajasab is done, Maruthi might collaborate with a mega hero possibly Ram Charan. Though there’s already talk about Rajasab 2, it won’t be immediate. Maruthi intends to make another film before diving into a sequel. Until then, his ideas will continue to take new forms through different hands.
