Talented commercial Director Maruti is currently working on the biggest project in his career till now which happens to be Raja Saab, which has superstar Prabhas in the lead role. However, the issue with this project is that it has been in the production stage for a suspiciously long period of time.

While this project was originally intended to be a quick one that would be made on a tight budget and generate huge profits that is not going to be the case anymore. Extensive production activities and the scaling up that happened for this film has now resulted in extreme delay in the post production.

The chances are that this film might not be releasing in theatres till next Sankranti or possibly even summer 2026.

The bad thing about this is that this Maruti project is keeping hold of Prabhas for an elaborate period of time that was not intended to happen in the first place.

On the other hand, we have extremely talented directors like Nag Ashwin and Sandeep Reddy Vanga, who are patiently waiting to direct Prabhas for their upcoming projects. Even fans are more curious and excited about these projects rather than the Maruti project.

The issue is that Prabhash is having to complete this Raja Saab before he allocates dates for other films, and that has ultimately resulted in a lot of delay in the production activities.
