Since its premiere on Sony LIV on August 7, its latest show, Mayasabha, has received widespread appreciation from both critics and audiences, registering an outstanding 2.8 million views, claiming the third position on Ormax Media's list of India's most-watched streaming content for August 11�17, 2025. Jointly directed by Deva Katta and Kiran Jay Kumar, Mayasabha offers a fictionalised interpretation of crucial political episodes from the erstwhile united Andhra Pradesh between 1974 and 2009. The opening season showcases developments till 1983. This nine-episode series has engaged the audience with its gripping screenplay and intense performances right from the beginning to the end. Deva Katta brings his signature style of hard-hitting political storytelling to this Sony LIV Telugu original series.
