The special event became even more exciting as Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan attended the launch as the chief guest.

The movie is directed by Bobby Kolli, also known as K. S. Ravindra. Chiranjeevi and Bobby earlier worked together on the blockbuster film Waltair Veerayya. Because of the success of that movie, fans now have huge expectations for Mega 158.

The pooja ceremony took place at Annapurna Studios. Many well-known film personalities attended the event. Among them were Allu Aravind, Nagababu, V. V. Vinayak, Ashwini Dutt and several other senior members from the Telugu film industry.

After the pooja ceremony, Pawan Kalyan gave the clap for the first shot of the movie. Director V. V. Vinayak handled the honorary direction for the opening scene. Photos and videos from the launch event are already going viral on social media, and mega fans are celebrating the special moment of Chiranjeevi and Pawan Kalyan coming together again.

According to reports, Mega 158 is expected to be a massive gangster drama with strong action elements. The first-look poster released earlier received a very good response from fans. Popular music director S. Thaman is composing the music for the film.
