Megastar Chiranjeevi started 2023 with a bang with the action thriller Waltair Veerayya which struck gold at the box office. However, the josh of the big hit was drained with the failure of Bhola Shankar, which is an official remake of a Kollywood hit film.
The undisputed king of Tollywood came up with happy news for the fans by announcing a project with Vassisht who grabbed everyone's attention with Kalyan Ram's Bimbisara. The upcoming film is carrying high expectations as it is expected to be a visual wonder.
Now we are hearing from the Grapevine that we might see a possible change in the leading lady of the film. Trisha Krishnan who is banking highly on the success of her recent films might replace Anushka Shetty who is said to be picked as the lead actress of the film.
It is said that the unavailability of Anushka Shetty who was expected to join the crew by now. With this, Megastar Chiranjeevi is said to have suggested Trisha Krishnan's name. However, there is no official confirmation of this.
If the combination gets confirmed then we will get an opportunity to see the combo after a long time. The last time Chiranjeevi and Trisha paired up was for the film Stalin helmed by A. R. Murugadoss in 2006.
Talking about Mega156, Bimbisara is the director while UV Creations Banner is bankrolling the project on a massive scale. Keeravani is scoring music for the film which is in the shooting stage.
