Mimi Chakraborty is a versatile talent known for her roles in Bengali cinema and television, making a mark as an actress, singer, and politician. She gained prominence with her debut film, "Bapi Bari Jaa," where she portrayed the lead character, Dola. Before her acting journey, Mimi Chakraborty ventured into the world of modeling, showcasing her beauty and charm. She even participated in Femina Miss India, demonstrating her presence in the glamour industry. Transitioning to acting, her initial project was the TV serial "Gaaner Oparey," produced by Ideas Creations and aired on Star Jalsha. This mega-serial, dedicated to Rabindranath Tagore on his 150th birth anniversary, involved renowned personalities like Rituparno Ghosh and Debojyoti Mishra.
