By: Tupaki Desk | 29 Aug 2025 1:06 PM ISTFor a long time now, Telugu cinema has started to become increasingly dependent on CGI and VFX output generation. It has now reached a point where the release date of Sharath Telugu films are almost being dictated by the pace at which this CGI generation is being done.
In this context, we have another interesting Telugu film coming up in the form of Mirai. While the film is preparing for its release on September 12, it is being established that there is extensive usage of CGI and VFX in the same.
In total, the film reportedly has around 1650CGI shorts and a lot of emphasis is placed on the quality of the same as these shorts will be playing a crucial role in the visual composition of the film.
Reportedly the major majority of the CG work has been completed already, and there is only a minor part of around hundred shots that are left.
The post production is happening quickly, and these CG shorts were supposed to be delivered to the final copy by the end of this month itself. But due to the relay in the delivery of the same, it could take a few more days for the final copy to be prepared.
Once this shots are delivered and the team is satisfied with the output, then the final copy is to be prepared. In the meanwhile, the post production team is actively working on completing the pending activities so that they’re on track for timely release.
This happens to be one of the better anticipated films in recent times as it is expected to bring together, visual storytelling and refined mythological presentation.
