Buzz: Can Mirzapur Do Magic In Telugu States?

In two days, we will see “Mirzapur The Movie” hitting cinemas across the nation, as, for the first time, content that clicked well with the web-series format is made into a movie and released in theatres. Featuring the likes of Pankaj Tripathi, Rasika Duggal, Ravi Kishan, Sonal Chauhan and Ali Faizal, the film’s Telugu version is also getting released. Let’s have a look at how the reception is going to be.

More than in the Hindi circuit, the explicit language used in the Amazon Prime producer's web series has become a super hit in Telugu as well. Even with the dubbing, they have continued using similar explicit words without any cuts. That’s how Mirzapur has won cult status, and now a film is coming up with a different branch of the story. However, there are no explicit words, overtly romantic scenes, or nudity now in the movie. That brings us to the question: will those folks who embraced the OTT version of Mirzapur now shower similar love on the film?

For the kind of success Mirzapur web series has seen in the South, the makers of the film are expecting that the movie version of the series is going to stun the audience and make it big like a Dhurandhar.
