Senior Star Upset In August, What’s In September?

Gone are the days when senior heroes are likely to continue as heroes forever. From Amitabh Bachchan to Kamal Haasan, from Jagapathi Babu to Mohanlal, many of them are doing solo movies as well as side characters too. Though Telugu veteran MohanBabu also shifted to that with the Bujjigadu movie long back, somehow he hasn’t taken that seriously.

Years later, once again he took to character roles with two films, and one of them is Mahesh Babu’s nephew Jaya Krishna’s Srinivasa Mangapuram, a film that sank without any trace at the box office. Many thought that maybe Mohan Babu would help the film stand tall, but nothing such happened. The film released on July 30, and there’s no talk about it even on the first of August, which is seen as a big blow now.

Coming to September, Mohan Babu will once again get lucky as the movie “The Paradise” is hitting cinemas towards the end of the month. If the Nani starrer directed by Srikanth Odela clicks big time, surely it’s going to be a big break for the senior actor. Having lost some peace in August, we have to see what September will do to Mohan Babu!
