2024 has been a largely fruitful year for the Indian film industry as the box office, several hits and blockbusters, which had great theatrical prospects. Now let us have a look at the films that gained the most anticipation on global search engine, Google.

As per the data released by Google here is the list of the most searched Indian films for the year 2024,

The list is topped by Stree 2 which has Shraddha Kapoor in the lead role, and this film was an absolute blockbuster at the box office as it returned more than 10 times its investment. It is one of the biggest blockbusters of all time in Indian cinema.

Then we have Kalki, which marks the coming together of Prabhas and Nag Ashwin. This film was a mega success at the box office as well.

We then have the likes of Laapata Ladies, Hanuman, Manjummel Boys, GOAT, 12th Fail, Salaar, Aavesham and others. All these films were historic blockbusters in their own rights as well.

Coming to the share box office returns of these films, incidentally, all of them made big money to the buyers, and turned out to be smashing hits at the ticket counters.

In commercial terms, Kalki is the biggest hit of the year thus far, but it is set to be or taken by the second part of Pushpa, which is going strong at the box office.

All in all, 2024 has been a largely fruitful year for Indian cinema, and this is the kind of momentum hold that was expected after a strong 2023, which had multiple big money films as well.
